We hired Yellow Hat Construction in May 2024, and less than two years later, several workmanship issues have already surfaced. Paint is peeling from the ceiling, the shower was not properly sealed, and the sealant around the vanity has cracked extensively, raising concerns about the quality of the installation and whether it was completed correctly. Throughout the project, we found ourselves repeatedly following up and asking the team to address incomplete items and finish work that should have been handled proactively. Given the number of problems that have emerged in such a short period of time, we were disappointed with both the craftsmanship and the overall attention to detail.

Amit's team preform top tier work. The bathroom remodel has exceeded my expectations. Don't hesitate to call Amit, he's friendly and whatever your budget is low or high you should ask what could be done.
The remodel in the photo took two weeks, which you'll find is fast for the amount of detailed work involved, in my case, I learned how many detailed steps a tiled shower involves. I'm excited to use my shower now, WHAT A HUGE difference.

I hired Yellow Hat to remodel several of my properties in the Chicago suburbs. I’ve been working with them for a while on flipping houses and units, and all I can say is: what a professional team! Amit knows exactly what he’s doing with his recommendations, and the attention I received for each project was outstanding. The team are true pros! very professional, always on time, super clean, and they always leave my properties in perfect shape, exactly how I wanted. Thank you, Yellow Hat! I will always keep choosing you and of course definetly recomend it!

I recently hired Yellow Hat Remodeling for finishing my basement, and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. From start to finish, the team was professional, communicative, and dedicated to delivering quality work.
The initial consultation with Amit was thorough, he was meticulous and took the time to understand my vision for the space and offered valuable suggestions based on his experience. He provided a clear timeline and budget, and stuck to both—no hidden fees or surprise costs.
Throughout the project, the crew was punctual and kept the worksite clean and organized. They handled everything from framing to electrical work, flooring, bathroom, and a wet bar. They even ran cold and hot water lines to wet bar and installed a sink sump pump to eject the water into drain line.
Their attention to detail really stood out, the final product exceeded my expectations. The basement is now a fully functional, beautiful living space that seamlessly matches the rest of my home.
Overall, I highly recommend Yellow Hat Remodeling for any basement renovation project. They made the process as smooth as possible and delivered a finished product I’m proud to show off. Thanks Amit and Yellow Hat team.

We recently had our kitchen remodeled and Yellow Hat was the absolute best. They taped off everywhere to keep the mess neutralized and made all requests come true. The workers and owner were all pleasant and great people who I trust to be in my home anytime. They cleaned up everyday and were upfront with their pricing and delivered exceptionally on all of our requests. They were punctual and communicative via online scheduling and I have already recommended them to several people. I do not have a single regret selecting Yellow Hat as my contractor and will undoubtedly hire them for any other job I need. Thank you again Amit! We could not be more pleased with our dream kitchen thanks to you guys.
By the way, their pricing was extremely affordable and less than we expected to pay for a kitchen renovation where a load bearing wall needed to be taken down with a whole bunch of electric and hvac in it. Do not wait to give Yellow Hat a call!

Yellow Hat Remodeling did a great job. The crew was very knowledgeable, respectful, and were able to make small changes on the fly. They were also able to recommend other professionals for glass work.

I recently had my bathroom remodeled with Yellow Hat Remodeling. Firstly, I found the price to be fair and competitive compared to other quotes I received. The team working on the project was highly professional, demonstrating their expertise and skills throughout the entire process. They were punctual, always arriving on time, and ensured that they maintained a clean work area, which was greatly appreciated.
Furthermore, I was impressed with how the team promptly consulted with us when encountering difficult cases during the remodeling process. They provided us with recommendations and solutions, ensuring that we were involved in the decision-making process. This level of communication and collaboration made us feel valued as customers.
Overall, I highly recommend Yellow Hat Remodeling service. The fair pricing, professionalism of the team, punctuality, cleanliness, and their willingness to consult and provide recommendations all contributed to a positive experience. I am satisfied with the outcome of the project and would not hesitate to use their services again in the future.
